The meaning of man and woman becoming one

The meaning of man and woman becoming one   In Mark 10:6-9,  “ But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. ”  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 』 Here,  『 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female 』 Looking at this part in Greek,  ἀ π ὸ   δ ὲ   ἀ ρχ ῆς   κτ ί σεω ς   ἄ ρσεν   κα ὶ   θ ῆ λυ   ἐ πο ί ησεν  α ὐ το ύς  Here,  ἀ π ὸ  (ap: from)  δ ὲ  (de: conjunction)  ἀ   ρχ ῆς  (Arche: the first)  κτ ί σεω ς  (Krideos: of creation). If we translate this again, it should be said,  “ From the first creation he made them male and female. ”  The first creation is Adam (man). Because man is Adam and man is Adam, errors may...

For me and the gospel

For me and the gospel   Mark 10:26-30 『 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. Then Peter began to say to him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed them. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 』 What surprised the disciples was that Jesus told the rich to sell everything and give it all to others. The disciples can be seen superficially accepting the meaning. However, spiritually, it means nailing all of your physical identity to the cross and speaking well to others a...

Jesus of Nazareth, what have we to do with you?

Jesus of Nazareth, what have we to do with you? Mark 1:23-27 『 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; What have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. 』 And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. Jews did not gather publicly and perform religious ceremonies on the Sabbath. This day was a day of r...

Fasting debate

Fasting debate   Mark 2:18-20 『 And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? And Jesus said to them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast. But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then they shall fast in those days. In the Old Testament,  “ one of the representative piety in serving God ”  was fasting. God commanded all the people to fast on the Day of Atonement. On that day, priests were also required to wear linen, burn incense, and sprinkle animal blood before approaching God. In addition, all the people had to stop eating and come together to God. Also, whenever the people felt God's wrath for something, they had to fast and weep all day. They had to tear their clothes, sprinkle ashes, stop ...

Disciples unable to cure a demon-possessed child

Disciples unable to cure a demon-possessed child   Mark 9:17-20  『 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. He answered him, and said, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. 』 In the Gospel of Mark, it is expressed as a child possessed by a demon, but in the Gospel of Matthew, it is expressed as  “ a child suffering from epilepsy ”  in 17:15-16. 『 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for Ofttimes he fell into the fire, and oft into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they ...

Parable of the Widow and the Unjust Judge

Parable of the Widow and the Unjust Judge   Luke 18:1-8  『 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect him, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? 』 The Bible says,  “ Life is like grass that sprouts in the morning, ”  and  “ It ’ s like sleeping for a little while. ”  It also says,...

Jesus being rejected in his hometown

Jesus being rejected in his hometown   Mark 6:3-6  『 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. 』 When people look with their fleshly eyes, they end up rejecting Jesus. However, if believers look with the eyes of the spirit, they can come to know the work of the kingdom of God through the signs and wonders of Jesus. A believer must be able to discern between the things of men and the things of God, and then he will receive the Son of God. God's work is "to believe in Him (Christ) sent from God." Peter confessed to Jesus,  “...

Preaching the kingdom of God

Preaching the kingdom of God   (Acts 28: 30-31) 『 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,    Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.  』 Paul preached two things. It is all about the kingdom of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. In Acts 1:2-3 『 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:  』 Today, how many people can preach the kingdom of God? Almost everyone says, "If you believe in Jesus, you will go to heaven." Very few people talk about the kingdom of God. After John the Baptist was captured, Jesus in Mark 1:15 『 And saying, The time is fu...
